My Teh Tarik Club Open House 2026
A Warm Beginning for a Growing Community
My Teh Tarik Club Open House 2026 marked an important first step in bringing together Malaysians and friends of Malaysia in Indonesia through a simple but meaningful idea: community, culture, and connection over warm hospitality and familiar flavours.
Held at Ashraf Corner by Maliq on 12 April 2026, the event was created as MyTTC's first official gathering with the objective of introducing the club, strengthening ties within the Malaysian community, and creating a welcoming space for guests from different backgrounds to meet, reconnect, and build new friendships.
From the start, the atmosphere reflected what MyTTC hopes to stand for — warmth, openness, inclusiveness, and a shared sense of home. Guests arrived throughout the afternoon in traditional attire, and the gathering quickly became a lively and heartfelt occasion filled with conversation, introductions, laughter, and the spirit of Syawal.
The event brought together a diverse mix of attendees, including community members, professionals, families, invited guests, and friends of Malaysia. More importantly, it showed that there is genuine interest in building a stronger and more connected Malaysian community platform in Indonesia.

What made the day especially memorable was not only the setting or the food, but the genuine sense of togetherness that emerged throughout the programme. It was a reminder that meaningful communities are built through real conversations, shared experiences, and people showing up for one another.
My Teh Tarik Club Open House 2026 was, above all, a warm and successful beginning. Preparation Behind the Scenes
Preparations began as early as Saturday, with the organising team working around the clock to ensure everything was ready.
On the day of the event, the core committee gathered by noon, dressed in traditional Baju Melayu with sampin, ready to welcome guests. Before receiving attendees, the team took time to sample the food spread to ensure quality and presentation met expectations.
Food and Hospitality
A carefully curated selection of Malaysian favourites was served, forming a key part of the experience. The food received consistently positive feedback, with guests praising both the variety and taste.
The service team played an essential role throughout the event, ensuring food was replenished and that all guests were well taken care of. Their coordination and attentiveness contributed significantly to the event's success.
Memorable Moments
Several moments stood out during the day:
First Official Guests
A Malaysian couple arrived at 12:30 PM, unaware that the restaurant was closed for the private event as they had intended to dine there. Congratulations to Man Geo and his wife, who became the first official guests to arrive—marking a memorable start to the event.
Rain? What rain? 🌧️
Mother Nature decided to join our Open House in Cibubur with a massive pour between 4 PM and 6 PM. But if she thought a little (okay, a lot!) of rain would stop us, she clearly hasn't met our guests!
While the heavens opened up outside, the vibes stayed warm inside. If anything, the heavy rain made that hot cup of Teh Tarik taste even better. A huge shoutout to everyone who stayed, chatted, and kept the energy high until the very end. You proved that MyTTC isn’t just a club—it’s a family that knows how to weather any storm!
By 7:00 PM, the final group of guests had departed, bringing the event to a close.
